GateKeeper should be very easy to use but here are a few tips for first-time users to help get you started smoothly…

LAUNCH & VERIFICATION - When GateKeeper is launched all users will typically get an email with a verification link you need to click on. This will then allow you, the registered email holder to create a password and a master contact for your home.

SETTING UP YOUR PROFILE - First of all setup the profile for your home. Give it a name and generic profile image - your family name and maybe a photo of your home or a family group that other residents will recognize as you along with your family email. The primary user should then setup their personal profile plus those for all other 'significant others' such as family members, pets and other people living in your home. Each has their own profile, image and individual specifications.

ADDING ADDITIONAL USERS - You can allow each family member and permanent guests in your home access to your account. You setup the services you wish to be available to each category on the Access Preferences page in your app and then set the category for each member accordingly. The primary user can modify these at any time and each user can set their own preferences in addition to this. The primary user can remove these additional users and visitors from their 'list' from within their app.

ADDING SERVICES - It's likely you will have regular visitors to your home for various services such as cleaners, gardeners, pool services and more. You can select these from those already available on your system if they are already there or ask for them to be added. However each service will be added by the guard and become available when they next visit your community and access is granted by any resident. So it's probably best to wait until after the first manual addition so they are added to the system and then you can simply select then in-app.

MESSAGING - You can send messages to individual residents, whole categories and post 'virtual signs' for other GateKeeper users to see via GateKeeper. Full details of each of the four types of messages offered can be found in the FAQ section.

MY VISITORS LIST - as you have visitors and grant them access they become linked to your home and verified to allow quicker access in future. You can modify and update your list in your app to ensure it always reflects your wishes accurately.

NOTIFICATIONS - GateKeeper is designed to send you real-time notifications of events concerning your home as they happen. These will arrive, if selected, even when your app is not open. So if you wish you will be the first to know if your kids are having a party when you are out of town if you live in a gated community and avoid any potential surprises upon your return.

DAY-TO-USE - You will be able to constantly modify your profile to assist guards, managers and other residents - whilst they verify your info and update lists organically to ensure their validity. You have complete control and a perfect, comprehensive record of events as they happen.

UPDATES - From time to time the apps are updated and you'll update them the same way as any other mobile app.

They are likely to be best equipped to deal with location-specific questions and refer any more technical ones on to us if necessary.
